Our Process: How We Work on Custom Cabinet Projects

Choosing custom cabinetry is an important decision. Our goal is to make the entire process clear, predictable, and comfortable — from the first conversation to final installation.

We focus on clear communication, accurate planning, and realistic expectations, so there are no surprises along the way.

Step 1: Initial Inquiry & Project Discussion

Everything starts with a call, message, or inquiry through our website.

At this stage, we discuss:

  • the type of cabinetry you’re looking for,
  • approximate wall dimensions,
  • preferred style and functionality,

Precise measurements are not required at this point.
Based on this information, we prepare a preliminary price range to help you understand the scope of the project.

Step 2: Preliminary Estimate & Budget Alignment

Using the provided information, we calculate a rough cost estimate.

This step helps you understand:

  • whether the project fits your budget,
  • possible material and hardware levels,
  • general complexity of the work.

If the estimated range is acceptable, we can move forward confidently.

Optional: Free Office Consultation (Before Contract)

For clients who would like to see our quality and approach before committing, we offer a free consultation at our office.

During this meeting, you can:

  • review material samples and finishes,
  • see hardware and mechanisms in person,
  • discuss design ideas and layout options,
  • better understand how we work.

This consultation is optional and designed to help you feel confident before signing the preliminary contract.

Step 3: Preliminary Contract ($1,000)

Once pricing expectations are aligned and you’re ready to proceed, we sign a preliminary contract with a $1,000 payment.

This step confirms:

  • your intent to move forward,
  • allocation of design and production resources,
  • inclusion of professional design and 3D visualization work.

Important:
The preliminary contract amount is fully applied toward the final project cost.

Step 4: On-Site Visit & Precise Measurements

After the preliminary contract is signed, we schedule an on-site visit.

We come to your location with:

  • professional measuring equipment,
  • material and finish samples.

During this visit, we:

  • take precise measurements,
  • assess technical conditions of the space,
  • confirm layout, materials, and functionality.

Accurate measurements at this stage allow us to move into design without guesswork.

Step 5: 3D Design & Visualization

Based on the on-site measurements and discussion, we create a high-quality 3D visualization of your project.

The visualization helps you clearly see:

  • proportions and layout,
  • materials and colors,
  • cabinet configuration and details.

Efficient Design Revisions

Our goal is to finalize the design in one or two revisions.
We focus on accuracy from the start to avoid unnecessary redraws, delays, and additional costs.

Step 6: Final Design Approval & Production Preparation

Once the design is approved:

  • technical drawings are finalized,
  • materials and hardware are ordered,
  • the project is scheduled for production.

At this point, all details are fully defined and locked in.

Step 7: Manufacturing

Your cabinetry is produced using quality materials and precision equipment.

This stage includes:

  • fabrication and assembly,
  • finishing and painting,
  • hardware installation,
  • quality control.

Current production timelines typically range from 3 to 14 weeks, depending on project complexity and production workload.
Exact timelines are confirmed after design approval.

Step 8: Delivery & Installation

Our team delivers and professionally installs the finished cabinetry.

We ensure:

  • accurate alignment,
  • secure installation,
  • clean and organized work,
  • final quality inspection.

Why Our Process Works

  • Clear pricing before commitment
  • Optional free consultation for confidence
  • Accurate measurements before design
  • Minimal revisions
  • Predictable timelines
  • Professional communication throughout

This structured approach allows us to deliver custom cabinetry that fits your space, budget, and expectations — without surprises.
